Description:
You have three geysers and a scrap field. Each opponent has the
same.
There are no uncontrolled geysers in a full game. The map is round,
divided into three sections by a tall hill. There are three gaps
in
the hill. Whoever controls the two gaps bordering his base, controls
the map. The geysers are in depressions toward the outside of
the map.
The scrap is mostly on the low hill between the geysers and the
tall
hill in the middle. Silos can be useful here. BZFRAC made by Derek
Sorensen (bz@bumblbee.demon.co.uk) was used to turn a bitmap image
into a rough beginning, from which point I used Activision’s
BZONE.
The map was originally multst70, but I used a homemade visual
basic
text editor to change the bzn file. It works.
Installation Instructions
-------------------------
Before you begin exit Battlezone if it is running.
1) All the files in the zip file need to be unzipped into your
BattleZone\addon directory (folder).
2) Do not modify any of the files in any way! The map will lose
multiplayer compatability.
3) Run achilpie.bat. This will add the line to your netmis.txt
Next time you play multiplayer, you should see "DHR’s
Achilles
Pie" as one of the available strategy maps. If you have problems
installing the map, make sure you have the following files in
your Battlezone\addon directory (folder): achilpie.bzn
achilpie.trn achilpie.mat achilpie.lgt achilpie.hgt achilpie.bmp
achilpie.txt achilpie.des achilpie.mad If you have further
